本刊行 ムハンマド04_2023 This book examines the roles of Islamic Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and their social capital formation in post-disaster Indonesia. The central research question of this book is to what extent are external Islamic CSOs able to create positive results, or generate negative consequences from the social capital formation while delivering disaster recovery assistance to affected communities? This book does not only aim to enrich the understudied literature on the nexus of religious CSOs and social capital in a post-disaster setting but also offers lessons learned for disaster practitioners for better disaster governance in a similar context in other parts of Indonesia, Southeast Asia, and beyond.
