Research Organization of Open Innovation and Collaboration
In accordance with the OIC educational concepts of "Gateway to Asia," "urban co-creation," and "community and social cooperation," Research Organization of Open Innovation and Collaboration conducts activities aimed at becoming a research organization that functions as a core presence in the local community, developing world-class human resources and creating new innovations.
While taking advantage of the academic nature and neutrality of the University, the Organization aims to connect a wide variety of people and organizations gathered in urban areas in and around Osaka, draw out the full potential found in that diversity, and create new value by tying them together in a creative manner. In addition, taking advantage of the location of the mercantile city of Osaka, the largest city in western Japan, the Organization will contribute to the community and develop human resources as it works toward solutions to economic, industrial, regional, and societal issues under the themes of borders and research.
