Chancellor Nakatani Pronounces an Encouragement for the AJI

　On April 22, 2019, the first Steering Committee of the Asia-Japan Research Organization was held. At the beginning of the meeting, Chancellor Yoshio Nakatani, who is also the Director of the Organization, gave a speech, saying “We will strive together to create a common vision of Asia-Japan. Let’s foster a new generation of young researchers on Asia-Japan”.
Toward the Asia-Japan Research Institute, Chancellor Nakatani referred to its activities and international research collaborations, and gave a strong encouragement by saying “I want the institute to advance to a more rapid development so that it will grow to be one of the global institutions which people talk about,” and “I have high expectations for the institute as the research engine of our Organization”.
