AY2024 Fall Ritsumeikan University Commencement Ceremony and Graduate School Degree Conferral Ceremony Held
On Saturday, September 22, Ritsumeikan University held its fall commencement ceremony and graduate school degree conferral ceremony. In total, 563 students (undergraduate: 415; graduate: 148) from 38 countries and regions graduated from the university.
In his congratulatory address, President Yoshio Nakatani sent off the graduating undergraduate and graduate students with an encouraging message: “In every era, great changes that have impacted history have started small, with the will and ambition of a single person. Precisely because we find ourselves in uncertain and uneasy times, I hope that you will choose not to fear failure and continue to courageously try new things. It is you, and no one else, who will change the future. If you challenge your mind, I am certain you will be able to pave your own way to a brilliant future.”
