Fostering a Next Generation of Researchers

The Institute is strongly committed to its mission of fostering a next generation of researchers. We define "a next generation of researchers", in this context, as a general category of Asian and Japanese men and women engaged in research as graduate students, post-doc researchers, senior researchers, and researchers / assistant researchers / research assistants belonging to any of the university's research organizations. We hope that a next generation of gifted Asian researchers will have opportunities to contribute to Asian and Japanese societies, as well as in these societies' fields of education and research, and have opportunities to actively practice their expertise in various capacities in these societies.

The Institute has prepared several programs for this purpose and will develop them further.
