A Next Generation of Researchers
The Next-Generation Researcher Development Program
Next-Generation Researcher Development ProgramThe Next-Generation Researcher Development Program (“The Program Coordinated with Graduate Schools to Foster a Next-Generation Researcher”) is a new program for next-generation researchers started on December 21, 2020, by the Asia-Japan Research Institute, Ritsumeikan University (AJI). We seek applications from Ritsumeikan University doctoral graduates who aspire to become "next-generation researchers."
Traditionally, research programs have depended on individual research projects. However, the aim of this program is to enhance the career-building skills of upcoming researchers. The Research Office website publishes the application guidelines annually during a specific period. For more information on the program, please visit the link: https://www.ritsumei.ac.jp/research/member/news/detail/?id=376. During the application period, information about this program will be available on the AJI website.
You can find a video on YouTube where Professor Yasushi KOSUGI, Director of the AJI, explains the program: https://youtu.be/6zK0dqfShP
Applicants can request a Q&A session with Director Kosugi during mid-November for the Next-Generation Researcher Development Program (On Zoom/Reservation required/ten minutes for each). Please contact the AJI Admin Office: aji-res@st.ritsumei.ac.jp
